Getting Started with the OPLYTIX SPECTRA Tool
Spectral measurement workflows should be accurate, efficient, and easy to manage. The PREMOSYS OPLYTIX SPECTRA Tool brings device configuration, measurement, evaluation, and data export together in one application.
To help new users get started, we have created a complete video tutorial covering the most important functions of the software.
From Installation to Measurement
The tutorial begins with the installation process and explains how to connect an OPLYTIX device to the software.
It then introduces the available device and software settings, including automatic connection, export directories, and the supported CSV, XLSX, and JSON export formats.
Configuring the OPLYTIX
Users can create reusable parameter configurations for different measurement requirements.
The tutorial explains essential spectrometer settings such as averaging and integration time, as well as the Target Saturation function, which can automatically determine a suitable integration time.
It also covers the settings used for color evaluation, including the illuminant, CIE standard observer, and desired color space.
Performing and Evaluating Measurements
The Measurement View allows users to create and manage measurement collections, perform blank and sample measurements, and display intensity, transmission, or absorption spectra.
Additional options make it possible to add wavelength cursors, adjust diagram ranges, and configure continuous measurements based on a selected number of measurements or a defined duration.
Completed results can then be exported for further evaluation, documentation, or integration into custom workflows.
